It's been a while

Hello everybody, it's been a while, hasn't it? Well, the iPad 3 and iOS 5.1 release are just around the corner (March 6th according to invitations to Apple's annual Business and Investor's banquet/meeting). This blog will be back up and running and I'll be your f0recaster through the iOS 5.1 jailbreak. Now for some FACTS (a.k.a. not rumors) about iPad 3. It WILL NOT have a quad-core A6, instead, an update to the dual-core chip is installed. The chip is known as an A5X chip. Another thing, iPad 3 will have a retina display and will ship with 4G LTE if you so choose. I will have more information from my sources soon. Stay tuned to get all the latest!

Any problems?

Hey guys, just making sure everyone's absinthe jb is working. I have made a calculator on Microsoft excel to see how much longer it will be until I get my MacBook, and I only have 111 weeks left. (keep in mind I don't have a job). Hopefully lawn mowing and other things can speed up business later on. It's winter now and it doesn't snow here so... I'm at a dead end. Once I get there, I'll be making my own jailbreaks for iOS 6 or 7. Talk to you later.

Coming Soon: A5 Jailbreak

If any of you look at @pod2g's blog, you've probably seen his post about the A5 Dream Team (@pod2g, @planetbeing,  @MuscleNerd, and @p0sixninja). Anyways, a member of the Dream Team, @planetbeing, escaped the A5 security sandbox. This means that nothing stands in the way of the jailbreak. Hopefully, within a few weeks we'll be seeing a release of redsn0w 0.9.10b4... or maybe 0.10.0b1 for A5. I'll keep an eye out for any other information.

Corona untether

iOS 5.0 corona still not out. Let's keep our fingers crossed that there will be one. pod2g may be too busy with iPhone 4S/A5 jailbreaking that he doesn't have time at the moment.

Problem with iOS 5 (not 5.0.1)

If you are trying to go untethered with ios 5, it won't work until the untether corona package is released. Just giving you a heads-up.
